Grandma and Pop's House

During our visit to Grandma's and Pop's house we had a surprise party for Reese and Cameron at Meme's house. We finally got to get some family pics.

This is one of the very few pictures that we have of Grandma--and we were very fortunate to get one of BOTH Grandma and Pops!

We attempted to take about 10 pictures with all of the kids in the family, but we have not been successful yet...maybe when they are all a little older everyone will be cooperative at the same time!!!

Reese's Dance Recital: June 7, 2008

This was Reese's first year in dance. I thought the day of her recital would never come. I was SO excited, but also very nervous! She performed three times--baton, tap, and ballet. I was not able to relax until the last routine was over. She did so good--we were so proud of her.



One thing that the audience found very amusing was when one of the girls next to Reese motioned for her to move over (so she could see the teacher). Reese thought she was pushing her, so she swatted at her and gave her a very dirty look. I was hoping no one would noticed, but the whole audience laughed!

Reese loves her medal she received for being in dance this year. She also got awarded "Most Improved" in her class.

Happy Birthday Davis!!!

Davis's 1st birthday was May 2, 2008, but we had his party on May 3. Nanny Dee's family, Misty & Carson, and the VanderHoeks all came to celebrate. He didn't know what to think of all the people at his house, but he loved his cake!!!
